                            The Rob Sas Interview

Hi Rob, a pleasure to catch up with you again. I hear there has been quite a lot of changes and activity again just lately…..

Christ, yes indeed!! It would appear that we have managed to come full circle and get the three of us back together which is something I am a little surprised about to say the least!

How did this come about?

I was asked....persuaded even, by Ross to fill in for the band that he and John have and so I went to do that. The rest as they say, is history. Ross really was the instrumental one in getting us back together. I know its what he's wanted from the start.

A good gig then, was it?

Stunning actually! I have to admit that I was a little nervous about the whole thing and as I was setting up I thought to myself.... Hold it... I've not played these numbers for eight months.. how is this going to work?! Happily, it didn't appear to be much of a problem, it felt so right and it was if we'd only been apart for a few weeks.

So where do you guys go from here?

I think its safe to say that we move forward. The chemistry is certainly there and we function better with each other, in my opinion.

Have any problems been ironed out?

We're working on it. I strongly suspect all will be apples and that we'll get back to business now. Our next gig is in April and that kicks off our gigs for the rest of the year. Like any relationship... you have ups and downs. I think we needed the break for a while so as to understand things better. Well, I did, anyway.  I think in future we'll program in a break for a couple of months every now and then but don't worry... it won't happen for a while yet!

And what about John's mighty bass sound?

By the time I've finished ripping the speakers out of his cabinets, he wont have a sound....Problem solved!

I see... So it really is business as usual?

It looks that way, huh?

Well, I look forward to seeing some great gigs in the future.

Me too.. I mean, I'd love to sit out front and watch us play!

Another drink, Rob?

Yes please...Make mine a large one.
